Things to consider:
Optimize: Podcast titles should incorporate data that relates to the contents of the podcast and will come up quickly in a search. Also consider strong tag words or categories for the directories that index video and audio based on key words.
Archive: you will see more viewers/listeners the larger your archive is. Once you start to build an archive, make it easy for visitors to find.
File Hosting Services - store the MP3 file of your podcast and track statistics on downloads.
